When I got this scale, I was excited to try it out, but couldn't. There were no AAA batteries included as mentioned in the description! So I had to go out and spend another $3.

Overall, it's a great scale and is very accurate. I love the lit screen and the easy to read numbers. But, I am having problems getting it to turn on. I can not get it to turn on by tapping it. I have to pick it up then put it back down for it to turn on. This gets annoying after awhile. Love My New Scale

My old analog scale was very inaccurate. I'd get different weights stepping on, off, and immediately back on. That's very frustrating, especially when trying to lose weight and looking for confirmation of every victory, no matter how tiny.

The scale is very attractive, and because of all the glass, tends to blend in with whatever kind of flooring it's on.

I have not had problems turning the scale on by tapping the bottom. I also discovered it can be turned on by lifting the bottom slightly off the floor (maybe 1/4") with my toe, and letting it drop down again.

All and all, I recommend this scale to anyone wanting an accurate and consistent weight-measuring device.

I like this steamer and I like that I can substitute other cloths in place of the ones that came with the steamer. Microfiber clothes work great with it. The steamer gets very hot and I had no problems with it leaving water on the floor. Everything dried in seconds. I did have a problem extending the telescoping handle. They should make it easier and more straightforward to lengthen the handle. I finally got it out after a few hours of pulling and turning it.great product

We used our Cuisinart DCC 1200 1 to 2 times a day for 2 years,, when it began to fail.

First, the red right would go off during the brewing cycle. It would finish brewing, but the hot plate was not on. If we noticed this, we would just press the on switch again to turn on the hot plate. But if you didn't notice it, the coffee would get cold without the warmer.

After a month of this, it finally failed. The red light would not work, and the clock would not light up. We were upset, and starting looking at other coffee makers. But I noticed that many only had a 1 or 2 year warranty, while the Cuisinart had a 3-year warranty.

We found our receipt from 2 years ago. So I decided to call up Cuisinart Sunday morning and tell them of the problem.
A nice woman with a slight Southern accent answered right away. She asked for the model and serial number, which we looked up while we were on the phone, and I then told her the problem.

She said she would ship me a replacement unit (probably refurbished) for $10 (which I paid by credit card) and that we would get it in 7 to 10 days. We are to keep the glass carafe we have, and send the old unit back to NJ in the box the replacement came in. I am not sure if we have to pay postage for this.

Our warranty is still only three years, so we only get one more year. But I was pleasantly surprised how easy the return process was.

Have to say the furminator does all it promises though I believe to a certain extent it "razors" some hair off more than combs so I would be cautious to not over brush. I found it especially helpful with our wirey jack russell terrier as his coarse hair is difficult to get off with regular combs.

My expensive Oreck vaccum was putting as much dust into the air as it was sucking from the carpets. I did everything to try to fix the darn thing and then started looking for a replacement. It was beginning to look like it would take $$$hundreds to get good performance then I read Consumer Reports and was surprised that the Hoover TEMPO rated so highly ....and at such a low price. I also checked out many the reviews on before I made my purchase. This is a really a terrific machine and it seriously SUCKS all the dirt up. After my first pass around the house with the new Tempo I was shocked at all the dust sucked out of the carpets I had just cleaned with the Oreck. I love this vacuum and would buy it again. Hoover does make a good product. I have have owned 2 in the past and they lasted forever. I have to say that it is a little on the loud side (thus the 4 rating) .....but then that's the power of this vacuum and I wish the cord was a bit longer. The attachments are very effective too, and easy to put on/take off and they store ON the vacuum for easy access. Everything I need in one place.
