We've tried other flea/tick products (more on that later), and came back to Frontline Plus because it's the best we've found. But 's price on this particular size (6-pack, 45-88 lb dog) was so low -- almost 20% less than the website where we usually buy our dog meds -- that I was concerned that maybe this might be counterfeit, since counterfeits are prevalent for Frontline, Frontline Plus, and some other dog & cat topical meds. But it arrived today so I checked it against the EPA's counterfeit fact sheet ([..]), and sure enough it's genuine.

In the past, we've tried saving a few pennies by using BioSpot and (many years ago, before all the reported issues) the Hartz Ultra products. Both were big mistakes. The Hartz product drastically affected our dog's wellbeing; a young Brittany full of pep & energy, she became lethargic and sleepy for a full 36 hours the day after application. The BioSpot product worked ok and had no side effects on her, but it had a pungent orange odor, and didn't absorb quickly - whatever fabric her neck touched (e.g. the sofa cover) for the next 24-48 hours after application was left with a big greasy spot that had to be laundered out. We came back to Frontline Plus and never strayed again. We now have 2 dogs who romp through the woods almost every single day, and neither has ever had fleas or ticks or any other insect-caused problem.

Have to say the furminator does all it promises though I believe to a certain extent it "razors" some hair off more than combs so I would be cautious to not over brush. I found it especially helpful with our wirey jack russell terrier as his coarse hair is difficult to get off with regular combs.must have pet tool

this is a must have for pet owners. i have a 4 yr old german shepherd whose shedding has always been out of control. i bought this tool because a friend of mine told me of her experiences using the furminator while working in a vet clinic. i kinda dismissed the recommendation until we moved to a new place and ended up having all hard floors. i found myself dusting my furniture everyday and sweeping 3x's a day(at least). my days seemed to revolve around picking up dog hair! finally after listening to my friend rave about this product i purchased 1. instantly there was a difference, i could not believe it. i could actually pet my dog w/out having a pile of dog hair on the floor when im finished. now im not saying this product will make your pet completely stop shedding but if you have a long haired animal i would definitely recommend trying this product and i do think you will be just as amazed as i am.

I love Angels' Eyes! This product works beautifully on my two Maltese's. When I rescued the my first dog, his eye stain problem was horrible.. I never thought I could clear it up. I purchased many products from the pet store. Nothing worked. Then I found Angels' Eyes. After just three weeks I saw a great improvement. I used it on him for only 6 months. To this day there are virtually no eye stains. He is a beautiful, very white dog.

My new Maltese had a much more severe eye staining problem. I have been using it for more than 6 months. It is clearing up but not as quickly as with my first dog.

I am extremely happy with the product. I am, however, disappointed that this new bottle of Angels' Eyes did not come with a measuring spoon. This product is a little pricey, but well worth it. I feel it's very safe, too.

I bought this for our Shitzhu but unfortuntely it just caused her to stop eating and vomits bile. She continues to be her playful self so it did not affect her in any other way. It would have probably worked if it didn't make her sick but now I will have to stop using it. Good luck to everyone else.

I heard about this product from a friend and am glad I did. It has lived up to my expectations completely. My dog, a female schnauzer, consistently barked at all my neighbors each time I walked her in my condominium community, regardless of the number of times she encountered them. I have 2 long haired cats that shed copiously. We have tried various shed brushes, wire brushes, etc with little impact. This deshedding tool is amazing. The sheer amount of hair that comes off of each of our cats is truly remarkable. I cannot recommend this tool highly enough. Along with the Bissell 3260 Pet Pack Vacuum-Cleaner Attachments our house is much less fuzzy. Both items are worth every penny.
