I had never used a CamelBak before, so I was wary about the biting down part. It works fine, just as it is supposed to. I have to pinch the lips of the bite valve together sometimes to get it to not leak, and I feel like I am using a sippy cup.
I think it would work great in a more active setting than I am using right now.Great bottle! A little too big though...

I love the Camelbak bottles. I never go anywhere without them, seriously! One of the best features is that they maintain the coolness of the water fairly well. I leave mine in the car a lot and the first sip (that was in the spout) is hot, but after that, pretty much the temp. that I put it in there as. A very good trait in the CA valley where it gets to be 110 degrees every summer! However I didn't realize that the 1 Liter was a little bigger than the ones I already had. It doesn't fit in most cup holders (like my car's) alas. Other than that, it's wonderful. Easy to clean, Easy to sip from on the go and keep hydrated. I'll remember to get the .75 liter ones in the future. The only reason I had to order 2 was because over the last 2 years I lost a couple :( But the ones I still have just keep going and going.... :) Oh, as a side note, this is not the best bottle to take backpacking. Car camping, yes, but backpacking, I'd stick to just a bladder and hose (like Platypus).

The tubing is perfect resistance for me and that part works well. The handles were very floppy and flexible, which doesn't work when you are trying to lift the tubing during exercise. So, I took a package of popsicle sticks, and inserted as many as would fit inside each handle tube to make them stiff and inflexible. I placed the tube under my feet as directed, it rolled from under my feet, shot me directly in the right eye. My vision went black for about 15 minutes. All products out there now have a warning: Wear Eye protection, severe head or eye injury may occur. The new tubes come with a nylon sleeve, so that this massive rubberband cannot take your eye out. I told SPRI about this and they had me contact their Ins. Co. They told me, well since we sell hundreds of thousands of these items we dont feel we are responsible for this. Their product is made in Mexico, with no warnings, no protective sleeve. This product is like having a rubberband (large rubberband)( shooting at your face at approx 50 or more mph. SPRI Products , Inc. does not stand behind their product, and no concern about who is injured or how many. The bottom line is they sold hundreds of thousands of these things. It's nice having a taste-free bottle always handy to make sure I stay hydrated. Easy to clean. The sport cap was a must - I can't stand having to twist off a cap when I'm working out (or at any other time). The loop on the cap still means I can carry it when my hands are full - just need one finger free to hook it. I do wish I'd opted for the wide mouth model - it would probably make dispensing ice through the fridge door a little easier and less messy.Not all that I hoped and dreamed

My expectations were very high for this bottle and were unfortunately not met. I'm sure it's perfect for some people and their uses. My use is at the gym primarily while running on the treadmill.

The sport cap makes an annoying draining sound when you use it and I am constantly banging it on my teeth. I've found a good angle to hold it so that this happens less often, but still annoying.

I have the 40oz red one and I'm tired of everyone asking me "what is that? A fire extinguisher?".

On the treadmill, the bottle's large girth means it fit awkwardly into either the ledge or onto the pocket (depending on which treadmill you're using).

Pros: the water tastes great and the metal keeps it cold for a long time. The sport is smart but a little ill-designed. Eager for the next version.

I'm 5'5 and have no problem using the rope. I got frustrated with the adjustment process and decided to use it the way it is. I love the rope! It has the best value and best design of all ropes I've used. It may be difficult to use at first. But every rope is like a new workout routine because of weight and length difference. Eventually one gets used to the rope and the exercise. I'm curious to see how long it takes before this rope wears out and break in half. Good luck to everyone.

Mine DID come with carabiners (came in a commercial box just like the pull-up bar came in, with the straps, simple instructions, and carabiners).

5 bucks? Are you kidding me? How can these things NOT be worth 5 bucks.

I do knee-ups at the gym, and these give a similar experience. Full leg-raises are more difficult though, as you have no way to support your back, but more difficult sometimes ='s more stronger.

Some advice: Keep your knees slightly bent so that the just touch the floor on the way down. Do them slow (no need for fast-twitch fibers in the abs) and try to hold for a second at the top.

Compared to sit-ups, knee-ups are better for sliming your waist and put less pressure on your back/spine.

I bought four of these to use in a college biology course that I teach. Students strap on the heart monitor and then do exercise and other activities to study how various physical activities affect heart rate. Of course, I had to test one of them on myself to see how it worked. The chest strap is an elastic loop that you put on under your shirt. It must be in contact with skin, and the surface of the black plastic sensor must be wiped down with a wet finger or cloth to ensure conduction of the heart's electrical signal across the skin and into the heart monitor. Just a moistened finger or paper towel will do it, and some people might be sweaty enough already that they don't need to add any extra moisture. Skin contact is important, so ocassionally I had a student who didn't tighten the elastic enough to make the chest strap taught. It might seem uncomfortable at first, but this sensation goes away quickly, and you will forget you are wearing the thing. One note for people with well-developed abdominal muscles that literally stick out from under your ribcage--you'll need to tighten the strap a little more than most people because the plastic sensor does not mold well to the topography of lumpy muscles (surely there is a better way to say that). If you've got flab, then hey! no problem.

The chest strap transmits your heart rate to the watch. The watch is easy to use and program. According to the instructions, the watch and chest strap need to be within 3 feet of one another. However, I found that the maximal transmission distance is more like 2 feet instead of 3. This is actually a good thing, since it will be impossible for your watch to pick up the heart rate of another person running next to you.PERFECT!! (well almost)

I am totally in love with my heart rate monitor! If you are looking for a device that masters the basics: heart rate, percentage of max, calories expended, time in the zone, total workout time; this is the piece for you!

This is my first HRM, so I read a lot of reviews and looked up which product would be good for a first run. I am happy with my choice. I am able to set a good zone range and it lets me know where I stand. I also like that I can go back and check for other data once my workout is done.

So I know you're asking about the "well almost" part. The only thing that is a bit perplexing is that the HRM will not display the time while in workout mode. That can be a little annoying if you're out on a run, but most gyms have clocks! ;-)

From the first day I used this product I felt the difference in the ways I use to do pushups. The same variations I use to do without this I now do them with and it make the workout more effective. The twist action is great like when doing a wide grip pushup, the twist on the way up simulates a dumbbell fly. All in all good. You don't have to only do the ways it is shown in the video but use that to help you improvise for greater range and more effective exercise. best gym equipment i have

i love these, and ive used these the past year. these are alot harder than regular pushups. that being said if your new to working out do regular pushups for a little while before using these. dont worry about them being made out of plastic its not that big a deal and they work better than anything else. ill talk about my progress so far but first i have to say i didnt follow the workouts that came with this, at least 3 days a week i get these and do a max set, then i do a set of 10 with these, then i do a set of 20 clapping pushups. a year ago when i started i could do 90 regular pushups and 40 something with these. now i can do 118 regular pushups and 77-81 with these. they also do a good job at eliminating wrist pain.
